Members have expertise from diverse areas including health, ethics, law, genetics and theology and include researchers, academics, policy makers and practitioners.
In 2005 the focus in this area was on the intersection of technology with the use of body parts, raising issues of consent and autonomy, commodification, exploitation and altruism.
In 2006, seminars covered a range of issues including health research ethics, health care policy and ethics, end of life decisions and issues to do with the pharmaceutical industry (see calendar of events for up to date news on the seminars).
